Your Ultimate Guide to the Disney World Resort, Florida USA
Disney World is a place where dreams come true. It’s the happiest place on earth, and one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. If you have children, or have been around children at some point in your life, then chances are you know about Disney World too.
Nowadays it’s not just for kids; adults go there to get away from their lives and enjoy themselves too! But do they really know what they’re getting into? What should you be prepared for before visiting? Who should you avoid if you want to make sure that your visit goes smoothly without any problems?
We’ve got answers to all these questions and more below! Read on, dear reader! You’ll thank us later!
What to Prepare When Going to Disneyland For The First Time?
Firstly, make sure that everyone in your group is prepared. To enjoy any trip, it’s important to be in the right mindset beforehand. If you are worried about your safety or if you feel that it’s going to be hard for you to not spend all your money at Disney World, then your Disney vacation will be ruined even before it starts!
Know About How Much Money Do You Need For Disney World
Secondly, make sure your money situation is sorted out as well. Disney World can be an expensive place to visit if you aren’t prepared. There are so many things there that cost extra. Whether it’s food or souvenirs or other little knick-knacks, bear in mind that there’s always an opportunity to spend money.
The Basics: What You Need When Going To Disney World
When going on a vacation, make sure you bring the basics. Here we will talk about what is essential when going to Disney World and how much it would cost for each item. Keep in mind that prices vary depending on the time of year and whether or not you go during a holiday, but for the most part these should be accurate.
Disney World Essentials: What You Need To Bring When Going To Disney World For A Day
First off, make sure your luggage is fairly lightweight. The less you carry with you, the better. It’s going to be a long day at Disney World and it’d be great if you came prepared.
Because the weather at Disney World is still fairly hot, you will most likely have to bring a lot of water with you. It’s a good idea to get a water bottle that is easy to carry around with you. You can fill it up with tap water for free.
Because you will be walking around through the entire day, and quite a lot at that, you will want to make sure that your shoes are comfortable and fit well. If you’re doing a lot of walking then flip-flops or sandals might not be the best idea; we recommend proper closed-toe footwear instead.
You’ll also want to bring sunscreen, as there is very little shade in Disney World. The sun can be very strong there and you do not want to get a heatstroke while spending time with Mickey Mouse!
Make sure to bring a camera with you, as it is a must when going on vacation. If you don’t have a good camera, there are usually places where you can rent one at the park.
Get Your Tickets and Riding Rides Schedule: The Ultimate Guide to Disney World Park Hopping
Once you’re in theme parks and ready to go on some rides, then we recommend getting your tickets first. Note that you cannot enter any of the Disney attractions without a ticket.
If you want to ride any of the rides, then we recommend going early in the day at first. The parks get very crowded by mid-afternoon and it’s hard to enjoy yourself during that time.
Once inside Disney World you can hop from park to park easily with FastPass+ or Park Hopping pass.
Park Hopping: What You Need to Know About Disney World Express Passes
If you are planning on visiting more than one park during your trip, then it is recommended that you invest in a Park Hopping pass. This way, instead of waiting hours in line for popular attractions like the new Star Wars ride or Soarin’, you can go to another park for a few hours while you wait.
This is much more convenient than queuing up in the morning only to have Disney World run out of FastPass tickets by noon. Can’t get any fastpasses because they are all gone!
To be able to use this type of pass, however, you must first have a park pass. They cost about $10 more per person, however if you are planning on spending at least three days in Disney World (quite likely), then it is definitely worth the cost.
Having unlimited access to all of the most popular rides by using your Park Hopping pass will make all of the difference for you and your family!
The Only Map You Need to Get Around at Disney World
There are two big maps of the resort. The first one is inside the front cover of the Guest Services Catalog, which you can pick up once inside any theme park or hotel lobby. It has all of the main places marked out for you, including shops and attractions. However, it does not include character locations, restaurants and other smaller places.
The other big map is at the front gate of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It includes all of these small places within its boundaries and shows their addresses as well. You can get this type of information inside any Guest Services office or from one of the employees manning the attractions. They also have a map of the parks that you can get.
As for smaller maps, they are available at all quick service restaurants, front gates and some gift shops. They come in booklets and usually have every part of the resort mapped out on them: attractions, restaurants and even character locations. You can use these to make your way around easily and quickly.
The Ultimate Guide to Buying Disney World Souvenirs on a Budget
When looking for souvenirs, do not forget to look for the shops inside the park! Just like every other theme park you’ve ever been in, Disney World is full of stores full of all sorts of trinkets and memorabilia. When getting souvenirs, you can also use your Character Locator app to find a character, and they will take a picture with you for free!
As for where to stuff all of your new finds, well, most hotels have gift shops. For the days when you are planning on returning home exactly as you left it, there is usually also a shop before exiting the park, where you can buy all of the normal merchandise that is available in stores around the world.
You’re never too old to visit Disney World. Whether you are traveling with your family or just looking for a solo adventure, there’s something in the park that will appeal to everyone. Don’t forget to use this guide to make sure you get the most out of your experience!

Your Ultimate Guide to Bermuda
Are you looking for an awesome vacation destination? Bermuda might be perfect! Here’s your ultimate guide to this awesome island:
Why should you go to Bermuda?
First of all, Bermuda is a British overseas territory and as such it has great places where you can enjoy the typical English traditions: tea time and afternoon tea, pubs and other classic English places.
You can also see the Bermuda Government House, the official residence of the British Governor, where cocktail parties are hosted during summer.
Bermuda is a great place for sports lovers because there are many fun activities to do here! All you need to do is go to any beach and rent some equipment or simply buy your own and start your journey through the amazing world of sports.
You can do water sports, the main ones being wind surfing, kite surfing and jet skiing while on land you can play golf or go hiking in the beautiful nature paths.
What places would you recommend seeing?
To start with, I’d recommend getting to know some of the beaches because Bermuda is famous for its pink sand beaches, so go to Horseshoe Bay or Jobson’s Cove.
There are also many caves you should visit, the most important being Crystal and Fantasy Caves. The first one is a large cave near Somerset Long Bay where you can see the amazing stalagmites and stalactites.
The second one, Fantasy Cave is near Hamilton and it’s a must see because the unusual rock formations are shaped in an amazing way.
If you want to see some historic places, I’d suggest visiting St. Peter Church or the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.
Other than that there are also other cities and towns where you can visit: Somerset and St. George, both of them being very important historic cities.
How to get around?
There are many ways to get around Bermuda. The public transport is well developed and it works excellent. You can also use the ferry lines to go from one place to another, mainly between Southampton and Hamilton or Dockyard which is a marina where cruise ships dock.
As for renting a car, that’s definitely the best way to get around the island, especially if you’re going to use a car during your vacation.
Among the main driving rules I would like to mention that there are no road markings in Bermuda, which actually makes driving more difficult for visitors but once you get used to it, then everything is okay.
What kind of food should you try?
Bermuda is a British overseas territory and as such it has many places where you can taste typical English food. You can also try some other delicious treats like the Bermuda fish cakes or butter cookies!
What’s more, I recommend trying one of Bermuda’s signature dishes which is conch chowder. It’s very good and even those who don’t like seafood will enjoy this one.
The best places to eat are those little restaurants scattered all around the island where you can taste the delicious fresh fish and drink a nice glass of Bermuda rum! I’d recommend having dinner at Da Lido or Annie’s Bay as both of them have amazing food!
How much does it cost to go there?
Bermuda definitely isn’t the cheapest destination in the world but it’s also not that expensive.
To get there you need to buy an airplane ticket and it can cost around $300-$500 round trip depending on when you’re planning your vacation.
A week-long stay could cost around $1500-$2000 for two people, not including your accommodations.
An average meal will cost around $40-$50 for two people while a delicious cocktail could cost you around $10.
As for renting an apartment, it depends on the location and how comfortable you want to be but I’d recommend not spending more than $150 per day.
The best thing about Bermuda is that there are also many hotels where you can get a good room for $100-$200 per night which is really amazing!
Any tips for the future traveler?
Definitely. I would recommend doing as much as possible because you can’t do it all in a week or two and make sure to take water shoes with you, they will help you visit the caves and even go snorkeling!
As for seeing the shipwrecks, you will need to take a boat tour and it’s very fun!
Also, if you’re going to rent a car make sure to not go too far from the main island because the roads are really different from those in USA or Canada.
Also, don’t forget about your travel insurance as you never know if something unfortunate can happen.
Lastly, take a lot of pictures and enjoy your awesome vacation to Bermuda!
Bermuda is a beautiful destination with many things to offer. From the gorgeous beaches, amazing food, and historic sites to exploring shipwrecks or snorkeling in caves–there’s something for everyone!
If you’re looking for an unforgettable vacation that will provide endless memories of your time there then Bermuda should be at the top of your list.

Puerto Rico is probably there on everyone’s bucket list. It’s one of the most popular destinations among travelers. The place is blessed with breathtaking natural wonders, gorgeous beaches, awesome cities and towns, warm people, great food and an endless list of things to do. Thinking about Puerto Rico can give you amazing ideas about how to spend your couple of days on the beautiful tropical island.
So, what are some things that people consider while traveling to Puerto Rico for the first time? Check out the tips below to find out:
Book Your Accommodations Well in Advance
Since Puerto Rico is a popular destination for tourists, accommodation booking can get really tough. If you are not planning to stay in any of the hotels, you need to book your apartments, rentals, or reservations well in advance. The ones that are near the beach are usually booked pretty fast. You should always consider staying at a place that has an access to public transportation so that it would be convenient to commute around the city.
Puerto Rico is full of great restaurants and the food is awesome! So, you better have a bite before embarking on your sightseeing tour. Arranging a meal in advance can be quite tough. When you are booking your hotel, ask the manager about tips from popular restaurants in that area or nearby areas. In case you are traveling during summer, you can opt for some seafood.
Take Plenty of Pictures!
Puerto Rico is a photographer’s paradise. You should take as many pictures as possible so that you could cherish all your memories on the island later on. It would be hard to recollect every sightseeing spot if you don’t have any pictures.
If you are planning to visit some mountains or places that are hard to reach, make sure you have all the necessary equipment before stepping out of your hotel. A heavy-duty jacket might be necessary if it’s cold weather.
Don’t forget to take your sunscreen and sunglasses – no matter what time of the year is it.
Book Your Transportation Well in Advance
Since you are visiting a foreign country, it would be wise to have your transportation sorted out. If you are thinking of hiring a taxi or renting a car, then do that before leaving for Puerto Rico. You can also book tours and cruises if you don’t want to move around the city on your own.
The best way to see everything there is on the island is by booking some tours. Most of the people prefer this option because they are more convenient and fun. There are some companies that can offer you cheap Puerto Rico tours .
Conditions May Be Unfavorable at Times
It’s true that even experienced travelers can face unfavorable conditions while being on the road. It’s always useful to have some cash handy in case you are stuck somewhere or need to get a taxi urgently. Also, hotels tend to charge extra money if your credit card does not work for any reason.
You should also keep all the documents like passport and travel insurance in hand while traveling around Puerto Rico. The last thing you would want is to get stuck without your travel insurance.
Puerto Rico is a place full of fun and excitement! You can enjoy water sports, sightseeing, hiking and exploring new places. The best way to do this is by consulting with some locals or hotel staff members about the nearby attractions. You will have a list of options that you can choose from.
Your Ultimate Guide to New York City
Just as it’s a cliché to say that all roads lead to Rome, it’s even more real to say that all roads will eventually lead you to New York City. It is the most populous city in the United States, and one of the most diverse cities in the world. With many cultures and people from all walks of life, it’s a great place to explore and travel.
Here is your one-stop shop for everything you need to know about visiting New York City!
Be aware of what’s happening on the street at all times.
NYC is a fast-paced city and if you’re not careful, things can happen to you really quickly! Try your best to avoid any footing issues as well (ex: tripping over uneven sidewalk stones or broken pavement). Also, watch out for car doors that may suddenly open in front of you; they will often do this without looking first to see if there’s anyone coming.
You will often see people dressed very nice and also people who look like they haven’t showered in a few days (and smell accordingly). Believe it or not, professionals dress down here; you’ll rarely see business casual attire on the streets of NYC. Also, unlike most other cities that have a functional public transportation system, NYC has a fairly poor one, so be aware that you’re going to have to walk everywhere!
NYC Weather and Dress Code
Don’t worry about packing your winter coat and snow boots. New York City’s climate is quite temperate for most of the year. The city doesn’t experience extreme changes in weather; be prepared for anything from a hot and humid summer day, to a fairly cold December afternoon.
Be sure to keep track of the weather forecast in NYC before you visit; it can make or break your trip! Also, try your best not to get caught out in severe rainfall (it happens often)! As it’s such a big city filled with millions of people, streets and avenues aren’t always cleaned as quickly as you’d like them to be. You’ll often see piles of trash or a pothole in the streets that haven’t been fixed yet. The city gets a lot of wear and tear due to its large volume of traffic, so just be aware that things won’t always be spic and span.
It’s not recommended to wear open-toed footwear in NYC, or any other city for that matter; there is a high chance that you will step on gum (sometimes even if you’re wearing shoes). If it’s summer, be prepared with an umbrella as well! A fine rain can turn into a storm within a matter of minutes.
NYC Neighborhoods and Recommendations
There are many neighborhoods in NYC; be sure to do your research before traveling here!
The best areas to stay at are Midtown Manhattan (between 34th and 59th streets), downtown Manhattan (Financial District, Battery Park), Brooklyn (specifically Dumbo and Williamsburg), and Queens (Long Island City).
Most visitors to NYC choose to stay in Midtown Manhattan as it is the heart of the city. This area is filled with entertainment, culture, restaurants, and more. You can walk from one end of this area to the other within ten minutes! There are also a few subway stops accessible here as well.
Anyone who wants to visit the Statue of Liberty, go on a cruise (Statue Cruises is one of the best ones in New York City), or see Midtown Manhattan from above should definitely visit Top of the Rock!
If you want to see everything NYC has to offer, consider staying at more than one place during your trip. NYC is a massive city, so you may want to see the sights in different neighborhoods.
Also, pay attention to where you are getting food at! Many of the best restaurants are hidden away high up on rooftops or inside quiet alleyways.
Things to do in New York City
You can’t go wrong with visiting the Statue of Liberty, taking a ferry out to see the Statue from across the water! Many people who visit NYC for their first time like to take in both views. Make sure you purchase tickets in advance, as they often sell out weeks before your visit.
There are many, many different kinds of restaurants to pick from in NYC; there’s no way you could try all of them! The best thing about NYC is that it never stops evolving, so make sure you check out the latest and greatest places during your stay!
NYC is filled with historic sites, high-end shopping venues, entertaining parks, and more. Be sure to check out the different boroughs that NYC is split into as well; Manhattan isn’t the only place worth seeing here! Another great thing about NYC are all of its hidden gems you have to search for. If you’re up for a bit of adventure, you can find some pretty cool things to do here.
If you’re staying in Midtown Manhattan, the Empire State Building is something worth checking out. Tickets for this place are sold out well in advance, so be sure to book your ticket as soon as you possibly can! It’s always a good idea to book attractions in advance, especially if you’re traveling during peak times of the year.
NYC is home to many Broadway shows; people come from all over the world to see these incredible performances! A few classic pieces include The Lion King, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, and more! Just make sure you purchase tickets beforehand (they sell out fast). NYC is also home to the best concerts in the world.
If you have extra time, check out Central Park! It’s an absolute must if you’re traveling with children. This is definitely one of the greenest places you’ll ever visit; keep your eyes peeled because you might just spot some wildlife here or there!
NYC is filled with many unique and breathtaking views, so be sure to bring your camera! The city skyline at night is a sight you won’t want to miss out on.
If you’re going out at night, expect the streets to be even more packed than they were during daylight hours. You can always go back to some of your favorite restaurants, bars, and more! If you’re having trouble finding somewhere to go (and you’re of age), check out some of the world-famous nightclubs in NYC.
If you want to see the best views of New York City at night, definitely take a trip up to Top of the Rock. This place is open 24 hours, so you can go as late as you’d like!
New York City is the best place to see professional sporting events; you can take in a Knicks game, Yankees game, or Nets game. If you’re there during baseball season, be sure to catch a marathon at Yankee Stadium. NYC has some of the most passionate and loyal sports fans around!
If you’re interested in seeing a Broadway show, check out the TKTS booth! There are often discounted tickets at the booth if you arrive early enough. Be warned that lines can get fairly long during peak hours.
There’s so much to do and see in NYC, so be sure to take lots of pictures! Make sure you have a camera ready at all times, as the city is a photographer’s dream.
If you are looking to visit New York City, there is a whole lot of things to do and see!
Remember to always carry cash with you, especially for street performers! You never know when an amazing performance will catch your eye.
Greek Isles: Tips for The Best Travel Experience!
What is your dream vacation? Maybe you want to explore the natural beauty of a tropical island, or maybe you need an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Regardless of where you decide to go, there are some things that will make your trip better than others. Here are some tips for making sure your Greek Isles vacation is perfect:
1) Find out all about the culture before you arrive.
When people travel to different countries they often find themselves in awe at how diverse cultures can be. If you want to get a sense of what it might be like living in Greece then take time before your arrival date to learn more about their customs and traditions. This way when it comes time for interacting with locals on this adventure, you will have a better understanding of them and what they value.
2) Save on food costs.
If you are traveling to Greek Isles then it’s very likely that your travel budget won’t be as large as it could be. You’ll want to use this opportunity to cut corners wherever possible to squeeze out maximum savings for the duration of your vacation. Some of the best places to save money eating out include:
– Look for food stands. It’s easy to get food from a market and it is usually way cheaper than at restaurants. When you’re trying to watch your budget, that can make a significant difference.
– If you see some cheese or meat that looks appetizing, then consider buying it to take back to your hotel/accommodation. It can be a nice way to save money on food just because you happen to be slightly hungry there.
– When you want beer or alcohol, stay away from expensive bars and restaurants that charge high prices for drinks. Instead, try going to the grocery store where drinks are half the price. It’s a great way to save money and can allow you to have a good time without going over budget.
3) Enjoy the beaches.
The Greek Isles are known for their glorious coastlines and amazing beaches. When you’re planning your trip, make sure to do some research on which beach would be best suited for your preferences (for example if you like popular places, go to Mykonos; if you like secluded spots go to Hydra). Doing this will help you make the most of your beach time and will give you more to do during the day.
4) Go shopping for souvenirs.
If you are one who likes to travel around with a bunch of trinkets, then it may be worthwhile to buy them in Greece (especially since prices can sometimes be lower than back home). Although this isn’t a necessity, it is something you might want to consider if you have some extra cash in your bank account.
-If you are traveling to Greek Isles with a loved one or friends then consider going shopping for souvenirs together. It’s a fun way to bond and usually free of any sort of cost. Plus, if you’re traveling with just one other person, then buying souvenirs for each other could be a fun way to say “thank you” or something similar.
-When it comes to items that you want to buy in Greece, consider if they would be easily found in your home country and how much they would cost there. This can help you decide whether you really need what you are buying or if it could be bought abroad at a cheaper price.
5) Take time to see famous attractions.
When you travel, it’s important to make sure you take time out of your vacation to do some sightseeing. When you’re at the Greek Isles, there are a few things that many people recommend doing:
– The Colossus of Rhodes was built in 305 B.C. and was labeled one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World” by Antipater of Sidon. Although it has been destroyed for quite some time now, you still can visit the site today and see what remains.
– The Acropolis is an ancient citadel located on a huge rock in Athens that was once home to the famous Greek sculptor Phidias. It is often considered to be the most important ancient site in all of Europe. It’s certainly a place you will want to visit if you’re traveling to Greek Isles.
– The ancient Athenian Agora was once an important marketplace and is now a location where you can see the ruins of the classical buildings that were once there.
– For those interested in history, there are archaeological sites all over Greece that you can visit. This includes the Greek National Museum located in Athens where you have access to over 6,000 exhibits.
– If you want somewhere quieter or more intimate, then you might be interested in visiting the Monastery of Saint George of Veio on Tinos Island. It is known for its amazing architecture and breathtaking views.
– Santorini is one of the most picturesque places you could visit in Greece. Not only does it have beautiful sunsets, but also amazing sites, such as the Church of Saint Irene (which was once a mosque during the Ottoman Empire), the Red Beach (where there are cliffs of red volcanic sand that are absolutely stunning), and the Caldera.
– Another amazing site is Meteora, which has monasteries built on top of huge rocks in Greece. These monasteries have extremely old history behind them and were once used as monk fortresses.
6) Know how to use transportation options.
There are many ways to get around when you’re in Greece. Here are some of the most popular ones:
– Trains are a great option if you do not have much luggage or don’t plan on spending much time at each location that you visit. Unfortunately, they are typically slightly more expensive than buses since they are faster and travel to more destinations.
– Bus routes are very extensive and typically cheaper than traveling by train. If you plan on going somewhere that isn’t a popular destination, then buses will often be your best bet as they tend to go everywhere.
– Bikes are a great option if you want to get exercise while enjoying the views of Greece! Plus, there are often dirt roads and trails that you can follow since Greece is known for its amazing landscape.
– Taxis are everywhere in this country so if there’s some place you absolutely have to go, then this would be a great option. You will save on public transportation costs but keep in mind taxis are not typically the cheapest way to travel around.
– If you are looking for a scenic route, then consider taking ferries or catamarans to travel around. You will be able to see the beautiful landscape of Greece without dealing with traffic.
The Greek Isles are an incredible place to visit, and you’ll want to make sure that you’re doing all of the activities on this list. Whether it’s exploring historical sites or enjoying breathtaking views, there is something for everyone here!

What To Do in Canary Islands: 7 Ideas to Get You Started
1. Travel to La Gomera.
La Gomera is a small island of the group called Cape Verde Islands, and it’s one of the islands which have been included in this list. If you are going there because you want to see native people still living as they did 1000 years ago, then that is how it should be. The people there are the only ones who have not been colonized.
So, yes, if you love to see how people lived thousands of years ago, then this is the place for you. But even if that is not your thing, it will be interesting enough to visit just for the experience of seeing a whole new way of living. After all, this is something you will not be able to experience anywhere else.
2. Visit Las Palmas for a day trip
If you are traveling on your own, then this would be an excellent way to spend some time exploring the sea and beaches of the islands. If you go there on your own, it is actually easy because the island is just a few hours away from the Spanish mainland.
3. Go to Tenerife
This is the biggest island, and it has a bustling city called Santa Cruz. It is home to popular restaurants and nightclubs. You could go there if you want a place where you can experience a different atmosphere while still being able to see the Canary Islands. There are places where you could go for a weekend, or even just a day.
4. Walking is the best way to enjoy Las Palmas
The city has many sidewalks and an interesting mix of old buildings with modern ones. The Old City district was built in the 14th century. They offer walking tours that are free of charge, so you can learn about Las Palmas.
5. Explore the mountains of Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria has a landscape that is very different from other islands in the group. You can see beautiful nature scenery in this island, including waterfalls and the fire mountain called the “Roque Nublo.” The best way to explore this island is by hiring a car and driving around.
6. Get in touch with nature in Lanzarote
This island is known for its unique landscape. It has volcanic rocks that are thousands of years old, and it is also home to many cliffs. The most beautiful place in this island is called Timanfaya National Park which you should visit if you want to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Or you could even take it one step further and try hiking on one of the Canary Islands volcanoes. This would be a unique experience for you, and you might enjoy it so much that you even do it again sometime in the future.
How To Save Money While Visiting The Canary Islands
Save money on food: If you want to save as much money as possible when visiting the Canary Islands then this is one of the easiest ways to do it. You should avoid eating in restaurants because the prices are generally high. Instead you should look for local markets where you can buy food at a cheaper price.
Another great way to save money is to cook your own meals. This will not only help you save money, but it will also allow you to take advantage of everything that the island has to offer in terms of natural beauty.
How to decide what island you should visit:
You can decide what island you want to go based on the time of year that you are planning your trip. This will allow you to take advantage of everything that each of them has to offer, so it is a good idea for you to plan your trip so that it coincides with one of the festivals.
Since the islands are so different from each other, it is a good idea for you to ask yourself what activities and attractions that you want to see before deciding which one will suit your needs the best. Keep in mind that visiting all of them is not possible because they are too far away from each other and it takes a lot of time to get there.
There are many great things that you can do in the Canary Islands, and it is up to you as a traveler to decide what activities and attractions that will suit you the best.
How To Make The Most Of Your Visit To The Canary Isands
You should research about each of the islands before deciding where to go. This will allow you to have an idea of what to do in each island, so that you can take advantage of everything that they have to offer. You should also consider the time of year that you are planning to visit these islands because this will be important when deciding which one is the best for you.
You should not expect the Canary Islands to be the perfect tropical paradise that you might see in movies. They can get cold and even rainy during certain times of year, so keep this in mind when planning your trip. Another thing to keep in mind is that traveling from one island to another can take a very long time.
What To Bring When Visiting The Canary Islands
When visiting the Canary Islands, you should consider bringing clothing that is appropriate for all types of weather. You might want to bring some rain gear because it can get very rainy during certain times of year. It might also be a good idea to bring some sunscreen since the islands are located close to the equator and they receive a lot of sunshine throughout the year.
If you feel like you might be spending a lot of time in the beach or swimming then it would be a good idea to bring your own gear. You should also bring enough cash and water for your whole trip, as well as any other items that can make your journey more enjoyable.
Canary Islands climate
The Canary Islands enjoy a tropical climate throughout the year, with warm temperatures and high humidity levels most of the time. The temperature can vary depending on the island that you are visiting. There is usually no significant difference in temperature between the summer and winter months, but this may not be true for all islands.
How Long Does It Take To Get to The Canary Islands?
It actually takes quite a long time to get there due to how far they are away from mainland Spain. You can take a plane but it is usually better to travel by boat because the price of tickets are cheaper and you will have more opportunities to visit some of the smaller islands. If you have enough time, one option would be to do so on a cruise.
Where To Stay In The Canary Islands?
A lot of people choose to stay in large resorts that are located on the beach. However, there are many other options for those who want to stay somewhere different such as a hostel or even an apartment.
It is also important to note that there can be some language barriers depending on what part of the island you decide to visit and which hotel or resort you choose. Some places may even not have English speaking staff at all.
Where To Eat In The Canary Islands?
Quality and price of food is not very different from mainland Spain. However, seafood tends to be a little cheaper in some restaurants that are located near the sea side.
There are also many smaller restaurants that offer various types of cuisine from around the world, so you will never have a hard time finding something that you would like if you prefer to eat out.
You may have to look around a bit before deciding which restaurants are the best for you. It is important to remember that tipping is not required in Spain so this should not be considered as part of your budget when making plans.
Canary Islands are beautiful, but don’t expect it to be an easy destination. You will need to bring many items with you that can prepare for all types of weather and other situations like language barriers.

British Virgin Islands, just like it’s name, is a very interesting place to visit. The British Virgin Islands have a lot to offer their visitor, from stunning beaches and rich wildlife, to unique dining experiences. Here is some information about the British Virgin Islands that you may want to know about before arriving:
1) British Virgin Islands Highlights
The British Virgin Islands consists of a group of islands. The main islands are Tortola, Anegada, Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke. In this article I will write about the general characteristics of each island.
The largest and most populated of the British Virgin Islands. It is also the official home of Destination BVI, a government agency that markets and promotes tourism in the British Virgin Islands. Tortola boasts beautiful beaches, lovely resorts and some of the best diving sites in the world – famed for its underwater caves and rocky pinnacles.
Anegada is the only coral island in the British Virgin Islands. It has no beaches because of its limestone base. You can snorkel or dive around Anegada to see the coral reef, stingray and other marine life under water.
Virgin Gorda is famous for it’s big boulders and cliffs, which you can see from miles off shore. There are 3 main bays in Virgin Gorda; Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island (located in North Sound), The Baths and Little Dix Bay (called the BVI Yacht Harbour). Virgin Gorda is also home to the Bitter End Yacht Club, marina and resort.
Virgin Gorda is know for it’s excellent resorts. The Baths are steep granite boulders submerged in the surf. You can swim or take a boat out to them, but be aware that they are slippery and there will not be anything between you and the ocean but a chain and a rock.
Jost Van Dyke is located near Tortola, to the east of Nanny Cay Marina. The island has an interesting history, as it was frequented by pirates seeking safe harbor for their ships. There are many historic sites on the island to visit.
2) Visiting the British Virgin Islands
The main airports in the BVI are located near Tortola (BVI), Jost Van Dyke (JVD) and Beef Island International Airport (EIS).
You can take commercial airlines from USA, Europe, Africa or Canada to these airports. Charter flights are available from anywhere.
Tortola has the largest airport in the British Virgin Islands, with multiple commercial flights coming in daily. The Beef Island Airport is close to Tortola and is used for private planes, charters and small airlines. There are also charter flights that fly into Jost Van Dyke (JVD). From any of these airports, you can take a ferry or water taxi to your desired island.
The BVI Yacht Haven is located close to the Beef Island Airport and serves as a home port for most charter companies, private yachts and small commercial airlines. The Water Taxi leaves from here. From the Water Taxi’s main office, you can take a water taxi to any island in the BVI for about $8 USD. However, these are not regular times for these boats – they may leave only every few hours or not at all, so make sure to plan ahead!
The Water Taxi leaves from Road Town, Tortola and goes to most major islands in the BVI. You can catch a ride to Spanish Town or West End on Tortola, JVD and Gorda. The trip from one end of the island to the other costs about $6 USD.
3) Getting Around in British Virgin Islands
The best way to get around is by renting a car or jeep. You can find these at the airport or ferry terminal. You will get a local driver’s license when you rent your car, which is required by law.
The roads in the BVI are pretty simple, with few cars and mostly two lane country roads. Speed limits are low (about 30 mph) but there’s not much traffic so just take it even easier! Driving is easy and convenient, but be aware that you must drive on the left side of the road and yield to traffic coming from the right.
For something more affordable than renting a car, you can rent scooters in most major towns throughout the islands. Gas is expensive (about $6 USD per gallon), so only use these when you plan to drive in one town or island and completely return before running out of gas. You can find rental scooters in Road Town, Jost Van Dyke and North Sound. There is no English spoken on the islands so take a phone or translator with you!
4) Accommodations in British Virgin Islands
BVI is known for its beautiful resorts. While many of these island resorts are pricey, there are options like the Bitter End Yacht Club and Caves (BEYC) that offer an affordable stay! You can contact them directly or ask your travel agent to help you book a room.

Guide for Newbie Travelers
If you are planning your first trip to Bay of Islands, New Zealand, there are a few things you should know before you go:
1) If this is your first time visiting an exotic location like Bay of Islands, New Zealand be aware that souvenirs may cost more than what they would back home. The reason for this is because many countries use their currency as their form of payment which means that when tourists leave they will have less money than what they started with.
2) New Zealand has extensive hours of daylight. During the summer months some days can last 24 hours long while during winter months they can last around 15 to 16 hours. Be sure you are aware of what time your flight arrives and departs so you don’t get stuck waiting for 10 or 11 am when stores, restaurants, etc. may not be open.
3) New Zealand has a temperate climate and experiences four seasons: summer (December – February), autumn (March- May), winter (June – August), and spring (September – November). The best time to visit Bay of Islands, New Zealand is during the summer months when you can experience their “Summer Solstice” which is when the days start to get longer and you can experience the “magic hour” before sunset.
4) Travelers should be aware that there are not many tall buildings. There are more tall trees than tall buildings so if you don’t like using stairs or taking the elevator, you will have to get used to either of those things.
5) Remember that cell phones will not work so if you need to call someone try to find a payphone or hotel room. Hotels may have phone lines for use in your room, but these are usually an additional charge.
6) Also remember that internet access is not as readily available as it would be at home so if you want to stay connected then consider purchasing an international data plan before you leave.
7) If you are thinking of traveling to Bay of Islands, New Zealand during the winter season be aware that day time temperatures could drop down to 55 degrees Fahrenheit so keep your sweater, scarf, etc. nearby should you get cold.
8) Because New Zealand is located in the southern hemisphere, summer months will have summer solstice, winter months will have summer solstice, etc. The best time to visit Bay of Islands, New Zealand is during the summer months when you can experience their “Summer Solstice” which is when the days start to get longer and you can experience the “magic hour” before sunset.
9) Since this is an island country there are not many places you can go to that are landlocked. If you plan on heading out of town make sure you have reservations set up ahead of time because if the weather is bad it will fill up fast.
10) Tourism has become widely popular in New Zealand so make sure to bring extra cash with you because if something catches your eye, it may be hard to say no.
11) Be aware of the local customs and traditions before you go so you can avoid making a fool of yourself. In New Zealand, people exchange greetings by shaking hands or leis instead of hugs or kisses. If you are going to ask for something in public do it with your right hand because that is the polite and respectful way.
12) If you are going to take photos of New Zealanders ask if it is okay first, especially if they are in certain spaces like museums or temples. They may want you to pay for using their picture but this also depends on what city you’re in because some areas will not allow pictures while others will charge $1 per photo.
13) If you’re planning to go hiking, biking, or camping at any of the national parks be sure to bring with you water purification tablets because even though they have great drinking water, it will not eliminate anything harmful in your system. If you don’t bring these with you then ask for the purified water at the desk of your hotel.
14) New Zealand is known for its great food so if you are planning to try out some local dishes be sure to eat everything, even the things that look unappetizing because there will be times when you find yourself thinking “this can’t be good” but it’ll turn out to be great. Their food is known for having a strong taste so if you are not used to that kind of thing then try your best to at least nibble on it or take some home with you as a souvenir. Also, they have boiled eggs that are available all over the place including supermarkets and convenience stores but make sure you eat them within 24 hours of purchase.
15) If you are planning on purchasing some souvenirs be sure to look around because local retailers will have their own unique items at a better price than what you can find online.
16) They also offer events for people who do not normally shop so if you plan on going to one of these events make sure you are aware of the time restrictions because some events will let you stay until 10 or 11pm while others will close at 9pm.
17) If you are thinking about staying for an extended amount of time, there are other ways to get around New Zealand besides renting a car. You can rent out scooters or bicycles at a lower cost than what you would have to pay when renting out a car so keep this in mind when planning ahead.
18) If you are thinking of going on a longer trip then be sure that you’ve researched your routes and destinations thoroughly because some roads will not have bus stops beside it meaning that there is no public transportation available there.
19) If you are going to be there during any major holidays like Christmas, Easter, and New Year’s don’t expect it to look like the same holiday or celebration that you know of because there is a very good chance they will celebrate their own.
20) Be aware that if you decide to head out on your own without consulting with the natives then you may find yourself traveling in some areas that can be unsafe especially if it’s at night. It’s best to hire a local guide for your travels so they can direct you on where you should and shouldn’t go.
If you are looking for a vacation spot that is exotic and has plenty of things to do, New Zealand may be the place for you. From hiking to biking or even camping in one of their state parks, there’s something for everyone in this country.
I hope this blog has been helpful and have fun traveling!
